Anyone done lifters?
Just picked my 951 up from the shop, alignment and CO adjust, and full inspection. Looks like I have a few easy issues, CV's and a caster bushing. But...They say the #2 lifter sounds bad. No problem for me to fix I have done a few other motors in the past. I was thinking:
Pull the head Remove the lifters with a standard tappet puller Replace the lifters with new Replace the head gasket Easy enough but I am trying to see of there are any special 951 type things that I should do in conjunction, or any other parts I may need. Thanks!

It is just that simple just take the cam off and replace the lifter and that's it.

Oh, thanks! I was not sure I would have the room to extract the lifter with the cam out.

Make sure you aline everything TDC. The lifters are in the cam so once you take it off they come out they will even fall out sometimes when you lift the cam up.

Just got home and checked my factory service guide. Looks like a piece of cake. I figure I'll just do all of them at the same time, and check the cam for pitting. Any suggestions for cleaning the oil passeges out while the lifters are out?
