alternative to hatch carpet clips

Need about 8 black carpet clips. Is there an alternative to the $5.75 EACH clips?

I think I remember reading up on this a bit ago. They're essentially just buttons that you could buy at a craft store and just replace the existing ones if you have a little time.

Check with Tandy Leather Factory - about $0.50 each for size "line 24", they are plated in Black, Brown, Nickle, Brass.

Necro bump, but after the fourth clip finally broke on the driver side of my hatch carpet, I really needed replacements. I almost died looking at $5.75 for a small plastic clip. Thought about selling the Porsche. Thanks Cocacolakidd!

I ended up buying the whole lot of them used from a pelican member, and I always snag them when a 944/924 rolls in to the local junkyard.

post a picture and see if someone has extras . I pull all small parts and store in containers just for this issue.

I clicked on add to basket from your link and got the $5.75 clip. They had a note saying I was using an older listing that they no longer stock, they stated the $5.75 item appears to be be compatible.

Look at any auto store and they sell newer car-style carpet clips for a few cents each...
