gas vent replacement

has anyone ever tried to replace the vent lines on top of the tank by lowering the trans until the torque tube hits the support then slight lowering the tank and trying to work through the access hole above the sender unit - was thinking of trying it and was wondering if any one had done it this way - is it possible - thanks

My old granny used to say, "the lazy man works twice as hard."

If you want to work on your tank, just take it out.
