Hey guys check out this car and let me know if any of you think if I could get it for $500 it is worth buying?? At least a parts car for my 1984, engine looks to be in pretty good condition. Thanks for your input.

Jump all over that as soon as you can. Keep what you want, sell off some parts, and scrap the rest. The Fuch wheels are worth his asking price by themselves.

I bet you could end up keeping what you want and doubling or tripling the money you have into it by selling/scrapping.

Yep, last set of Fuchs I saw sell on ebay went $1,200. Definitely worth it.

That doesn't mean he won't sell it to you. Get in touch with him and let him know you're serious about buying the whole car. Remind him that parting out a car is alot of work and can be a pain if you try selling off the parts locally.

On the other hand, that car looks pretty rusted out. Many of the nuts/bolts are probably going to snap off when you try taking things apart. Maybe it's not as bad as it looks though.
