944SE what?
I have fooling around with 944's read some books and magaznes

Perhaps he's referring to a 944 n/a with the 2.7 liter engine they made that year. The HP number (187) he quotes seems to match the output of the 2.7.
NO STINKING way is that car worth over $10k. -Z.
