Anyone want an AIR Widebody 944 Race car rolling chassis for 3k?

Comes as follows: Running car, less engine/computers/engine wiring harness.

Will come on skinny wheels, so you can build your choice of wheels. Great for racing, Texas Mile events as it'll fit a 355 rear tire.

Comes with cage, lexan windsheild, quick-release momo steering wheel, Sparco seat, harness, '86 turbo suspension, brakes, LSD cooled transaxle, lightweight rear bumper, sealed in sunroof.

Car is currently running & driving, but motor will be pulled once sale is done.

Mark

Red face

The front looks okay, but the back, it looks like a 944 that got swallowed by General Grant - the Duke's of Hazzard car (68 Charger).

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but...

I'd absolutely love to finish that car. I'm a tad short these days, though. On cash and parking spaces!

I love the rear...I'd change more of the front if it were mine.

I need to verify LSD on this transaxle: any suggestions other than spinning one tire with the back end up off the ground?

General LEE. And that wide body rear is sweet.

The transmission is worth $1k of the asking price assuming it's a solid LSD.

Just to put in a cage is $2k if you can find someone to weld it for that......

Looks like the chassis is free.

It has fasteners for the front & some nice light tube steel work to support the front bumper cover.

1k trans + 2k chassis including full '86 turbo brakes & suspension, Koni M030 front with new perches & springs, adj. camber plates, RD strut tower bar, bolt-in Autopower cage, Sparco seat, momo + quick disconnect wheel, gauges, flushed stock 951 fuel tank with good pump & SS lines to/from the tank, lightweight rear bumper, Weltmeister rear bar (can't recall what's on the front), Lexan windshield, gauges, don't recall of any cracks/separation besides at the tip of the nose.

$2500 rolling chassis on skinnies, or $6500 running (though w/o battery)

Bump!
