coil over help
Just found out today that my coil covers that I thought where koni are in fact some sort of custom made coil covers from most likely the early 90`s.
What I would like to know from the masses is that. Would it better to spend the big money and replace all four corners with new stuff or see if the springs can be changed out for softer ones. |

Why wouldn't you be able to switch out the springs?

Well I could but if the shocks are really stiff there would be no point
Early 90`s I say don't think they have ever been changed since they got customised. We are guessing that the spring is very hard and the shock is a medium shock, I'm having them pulled and tested by a local place that actually makes custom coil covers and the bloke on the phone was explaining to me that when he was learning to build coil covers and stuff from his old man that they use to build custom stuff for our cars as the shocks in the rear use to crap out a lot and it was more cost effective to have custom stuff made. See what happens I guess |
