seems to me, that my car is missing a part for the E-Brake

P.S. Re-installing seat and in a couple days im getting the driver seat Re-upholstered.

For my 83 I had a bunch of spare springs and parts for the parking brake in the rear, I will go check.

EDIT: Just realized this is at the handle, sorry. Parts Heaven probably can grab it off for you. Or check the For sale here and grab from a parts car

Everything on it is fine, Except for when I was fixing it......I noticed the wire. Took me 20 minutes to JUST Findout what the hell it was for. Lol

You should add your location, get with your local PCA. (American, right?) Your part is findable. That's what parts cars are for :)

Early car? If so, that is a vw part, you should be able to get that from any mid 80's vw. But 12 buck shipped is a pretty good deal!
