Possibly the weirdest Franken-car I've seen...

...but surprisingly, looks pretty good: 1988 944 w/ 2006 911 Nose Project

Too bad he didn't finish it.

(DID I REALLY SAY THAT?!! - Gah... whip me, mama, I been a bad, bad boy...)

Id like to see that in completed form. I think it looks like it could really be nice.

It's quite interesting, hope someone takes it on and finishes it as I think it could look OK. However. it is difficult to say without the paint and lights, etc....I had often wondered what other Porsche fronts would look like on the '44, as the 968 styling is borrowed from several other models and works well (my personal opinion!).

Re: Possibly the weirdest Franken-car I've seen...

There's a guy on the Porsche Hybrids forum that is doing all 4 fenders, both bumpers and the hood from a 911 on a 924. It's going to end up looking like a 924 is sprouting out of the bottom half of a 911. And I think he's actually going to finish it.

that blue 968 has the original 968 front end, with the bottom of a 997 bumper grafted on and 993-style fixed headlights fitted to the fenders.

first one is not even that bad, apart form the scoop. Those wheels don't go well with the NA in my opinion, unless you have the S2/turbo rocker trim.
