I was drifting, feathering the gas, and there was a loss of power and then it cracked wide open throttle and broke, then i found that one of the screws from the shaft that holds the butterfly plate flew into the motor, and the rod snapped in half , and a few pieces of that went in aswell.

So, the throttle body didn't break, just one of the screws came loose? Did you ever rebuild the TB? The OEM screws are peened and won't come out. I have rebuilt mine and didn't peen the new screws (too nervous) but did use blue thread locker as a precaution against backing out.

Like I said , the throttle body broke. The shaft snapped in half and a screw fell into the motor along with pieces of the shaft.

You should pull the motor, see what is going on inside.

I'm going to drop the pan and do the rod bearings soon, the motor showed some amazing compression readings so I'm not touching it up top
