968 top sticking question

Hello,
The top sticks to the back of he factory installed roll bars behind the seats as it rises to close. I am told that the ball and socket on the arms may be adjusted to lengthen/shorten the arm. Does anyone know which direction does what? I need to move the top towards the rear of the car to allow clearance. Would that be more or fewer threads showing?
Thanks in advance,
LLOYD

there is no factory installed roll bar. the 968 cab never came with one. the factory never made one. there are a couple of aftermarket ones floating around.

there is a manual floating around for the top. google "968 cab top manual" and you should find it
