Sad and abandoned 924/944/968

Over on the 911 forum there is an interesting thread of sad and abandoned 911s. Not for the faint of heart.

I searched here and couldn't find anything similar, so I am starting this thread.

Please add your own photos (or photos of your own car awaiting revival!)

Here are a few sad ones to begin with:

This one is 85 % "finished"

This one "has potential"

"Ran when parked"

Here are a few more:

Slowly returning to the earth.

Hey, this will "buff right out", needs minor engine work too.

This one's not too bad actually.

I wish I had taken pictures of mine when it first arrived all sad in my driveway.. I was too busy holding back tears. Not as bad at those though. She is coming along nicely now though. Nice new interior and waiting for her transplant so she can go to the paint shop

Thats a 2.0L slug from a 924 n/a. Probably the car is as well, with 944 bodywork.

Well done. Note the 4-lug front hub and brake disk.

You're right! I looked closer, somebody just cut the top off. The trunk is wrong, the door is off a coupe, and the windshield frame is wrong. I just assumed it was a factory cab, never seen a convert before. Although it probably would've been cheaper to just buy an S2...
