Porsche Crest Bandwagon Exhaust Video

See a lot of these, decided to take a small one while messing with the idle.

Nice, I've considered the same thing, but mine still has stock exhaust.

I've been in the process of trying to find a good sounding video with a decent exhaust kit to do to my car.

Any suggestions? 85.5 NA

THAT's an exhaust? That's just some engine noise out the back, pretty lame IMO. Folks, get real, you can't get the sound of a Ferrari out of a Porsche 944, no matter how hard you try.

Do you call that a wooden fence in the background. That's just a bunch of boards lined up next to each other.

I'll just go cry in the corner. Besides the fact I don't have an exhaust and my neighbor's fence sucks, this is just a stock 944 exhaust with the catalytic converter deleted (which I understand is an option on German 944's). My hood was still open from adjusting the idle so you sure can hear that ticking sound lol

I have the same setup but mine sounds a lot louder ( not in a good way ), and more ricey. I think I need a new muffler or there is a hole somewhere. Do I need to buy an OEM muffler or can I get one off the self. With the cat delete which muffler works the best to give a nice normal ( quiet ) sound, and where is the best place to buy them. I would put up a video of my exhaust but I don't take criticism well.

I have the original muffler. It's pretty dinged up on the bottom somehow by PO (?) but I guess it works well still. I'm not sure of any good muffler setups, sorry :/ I'm sure others have good setups

Not 100% sure but it does look a lot like the one PP has listed. Whatever came from the factory.

cat deletes were on RoW 944's where they aren't legally required, so not just Germany or other parts of Europe but New Zealand and Australia too. Probably more...

Sounds good mate.... not sure y the massive rant from strupgolf either I think we all know that our four cylinder symphony's are of ones own taste but frankly I would rather be standing front row to an AC/DC concert than some fancy pants Vienna Philharmonic orchestra.
"My two cents..... should I just leave them on the counter or put them in the tip jar"

I've listened to a lot of exhaust mods on facebook and one question I have is that with the turbo models, the exhaust note is probably already muffled a bit by the turbo before it gets into the exhaust system, right? Us N/A guys need to compare apples with apples or it doesn't count. I've also heard that replacing the cat with a resonator takes the sharpness out of the sound and makes it more mellow. Anyone have a comparitive comment on that combination?

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
