there is a hole in recently bought 968 engine what goes in it . driver's side near back..see photohttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372742397.jpg

Not a hole, but rather a positioning "dimple" for use in the factory when machining the bare block. All 944 and 968 cars have that.
