The bolt the holds the rear of the control arm came out after a lot of work but when I try to put the new one in it gets tight to a certain point then gets completely loose.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?? |

The one going into the tub? Sounds like the captive/welded nut broke loose. If so, you'll need to cut open the box section and replace it (not as scary as it sounds. . .check Craigslist for mobile welding service).

That does sound scary. haha Just to verify it's the bolts that hold in the caster block. Is that the same one you're referring to? I didn't know there were welded nuts inside of them. |
