I'm interested in a sunroof, especially if it was acrylic, saratoga style.

Looks like those are from a power sunroof car, though. I need the manual panel and trim in back of it.

On the other hand, if Mix could make a saratoga style top for a reasonable price, I'd be interested in just going that route.

To all. Sorry I've been away for a while. Things have been pretty hectic. My dad is now moving from our old house so i'm also having to move the rest of my stuff as well. As posted in the classifieds, I'm selling my '83 944. Also have a jet ski and trailer combo going as well.

I am still working on the composite parts. Starting to experiment with resin infusion to see if I can make an even higher quality product. Stay tuned.......

Kris

I just made a new pair of fiberglass headlight covers Thursday and will be priming them and then installing them on my 924. I've had my carbon cover demos installed on my '86 944 for some time now for weather testing. More to come.

New info

Here's a few pics of the new style pods. The pic is of the plug for the right door speaker pod. You can compare this to the one that I have already posted. I made the mold last night using resin infusion.

These pods, along with the reaer window wiper motor cover, 924 fuel hose cover and possibly the headlight covers will be the first items to be released for sale. With any luck, it may just be in time for Christmas. Start making your Santa Clause lists.

I'll be making the mold for the other side tonight. Made the frames for the molds last night. We hae some other molds in our company that will be going to post-cure next week, so the pod molds will go at the same time. Once post cured, the molds will be ready for part making.

Edited prices off of here due to new updates in pricing book. The prices that I originally posted were only tentative.

I will also post weights of the originals Vs the composite panels.

Thanks for all your input!!!
I have a 924 Turbo header panel if you want to copy it

I have one as well, but it's crap. I got it off ebay and it wasn't asll that great. Needs a lot of work to make into a decent plug for tool fabrication.

I will shortly this month as some things are developing at work that may put a financial damper on the month for me and my girlfriend (we both work together). Time to get busy!!!

Here it is guys. The new revised door speaker pods with the full face panels. All pricing is finished for these as well. I may put a few listings on ebay for them as well starting tomorrow. They will be offered in fiberglass and two different weaves of carbon fiber.

You can see the fit from the following pictures:

The parts shown are raw (no primer). Priming or clearcoating of parts is an additional cost.

Kris
