Which way to turn eccentric to adjust camber
I want to dial in some more negative camber on my car tomorrow. I heard that one of two bolts at the bottom of the struts on my 86 951 is the eccentric and will adjust the camber. Which way do i turn it to go either positive or negative.

You cannot "dial in" some negative camber without altering the toe setting; therefore you need to have a wheel alignment done.
Unless you have the equipment to do this you will have to have the alignment at a shop that actually knows about Porsches. For normal street driving the stock settings (and you do know what the settings are at the moment, don't you?) are fine. The alignment shop will advise you on more aggresive street or track driving settings.

Yep, when it comes to race tuning of the suspension it's very important to have it done by someone with the right tools, but most important knowledge and experience on you car with your set of tires etc. I did my alignment by a regular shop once and the guys there did a great job, although it was the first time they ever did a 951. He told me that he was just doing everything by the book (computer actually) and that if i wanted some special settings i really should go to a shop who knows all about it, because it's a delicate job.
