Just curious
How many of you snagged the new satatoga top release for 300 bucks?

I've always felt that the only thing special about the Saratoga top was that you couldn't get one. For the past ten years or so, I've been amused at the number of people who didn't want to spend a dime on maintaining their 944 but would clamor to spend $600+ on a piece of glass that's just going to make them sweat (especially since they were too cheap to fix their air conditioning).

I remember looking through the perf prod magazines back in the early 90's, when the saratoga tops were available for the 944, and asking why would anyone want one. Not my cup of tea. Take the top out if you want sun.

Looks cool I suppose but here in CA it's just fighting the A/C. I like my 74° car so I really don't even use the sunroof much lol. Life is good with working A/C.
