Alternator belt help?

My track car threw an alternator belt. Previous owner says order part number 6PK720. Can't seem to find this belt on pelican parts?

Suggestions? Car has A/C delete so I'm not sure a regular belt will work?

Thanks!

Go to an auto parts store or one of pelicans conpetitors and get one. That's the generic size for the late AC delete 944 and pelican doesn't have it.

put alternator in a position where there is still plenty of tensioner adjustment left.

apply string to full belt path around crank/alt pulley. measure distance covered in mm. go to car store and ask for belt with that approximate length.

Contitech 6 PK 720
This should cross to other brands pretty easily. 6 universally equals the number of ribs, I think PK is internally ribbed, and 720 is the length. I've heard of Poe going with the five rib given the relatively short belt and low load. I just bought this belt a few months ago at a FLAPS.

Thanks for the part number.
I've been using the 5 Rib belt.... no problems with it, and think of the weight savings!
