fuel system question
Hello there...
1984 924 wont start, not getting any fuel. my accumulator is rusted beyond belief, despite having removed it and soaking in penetrant, cannot even loosen one of the hoses. I would like to run a hose straight from the pump to the fuel filter, what type of hose do I need and where could I get one? student budget

Advance Auto parts will sell you fuel hose by the foot.... just bring in some of it and tell them how much you need and you'll probably get out for less than $10

great, thanks. picked some up and the car started. Is it safe to run with the accumulator bypassed until I get a replacement?

![]() NO!!! This is a CIS model, with fuel pressures above 60psi at times. Assuming you are using hose clamps, you are running a huge risk. Consider this a learning experience. We all have to go thru this and make our own mistakes. Len
