Doors won't open

A 2 part question/help. OK, I have had a driver side door problem for some time where the handle "freezes" in the winter. I've replaced it a few times already. I'll pull the handle to get out, and the handle doesn't latch/ move back to the original position, so the door doesn't latch shut. I drive holding the door open. I think it is the spring in the door handle by the lock that sticks. And the knob that pushes the arm down broke, so I can't even get in from the outside of the door.
#2. My passenger side door handle snapped. In 2 prices. I have to use the sunroof to get in n out now. I fixed the door handle, but the door won't open. I've played with the locking mech. It should open when I press down on the locking arm, but it seems like the door is locked. Won't budge at all. What am I doing wrong that I can't get my pass. side door open? Sorry for being all over the place, but thanks for your time and help guys

Time to pull the panels off and replace broken and worn parts and lubricate everything.

Thanks. I know what's wrong with the drivers side, waiting a those parts. I can't open the passenger door at all. The inside door panel is off, along with the door handle, and still have no clue how to get this thing to open. Last time I had the panels off I WD40 the parts I could see moving. Should I use grease? I have some grease left over from CV joint rebuild, can I use that as lube?

Wd-40 is good but the wd stands for water displacement, so it doesnt last as long as other lube. I would green light the cv grease, it will work.

WD-40 isn't a lubricant. It just displaces water, its more for cleaning and protection from rust. I would use a proper dry lubricant designed for door mechanisms after cleaning everything.

White lithium grease is good for doors.
