Bringing a seriously disrespected 924 back to life.

I recently bought a 79 924. I'm sure I will be on here often to gain some knowledge and advice from those of you who have it to spare. My first and most head scratching issue is oil in my throttle body. It doesn't smoke out of the tail so I don't think it is reaching the combustion chambers but I cant figure out where it is coming from. Any ideas?

Try cleaning the PCV port under the intake manifold, in the block.

Also the turbo cars added a breather to the mechanical fuel pump block off plate, might be worth a shot in addition to fixing up the breather system.

I need a line on a good parts distributor. Where do you fellas get your parts? My local parts stores can't get anything more than plugs and filters.

Thanks for the reply. I checked and cleaned the PCV port but there is no PCV. Just hoses. Looking for a place to order parts.

Here, ********, EBS Racing, Ideola's Garage and a few other sites. Helps to look up the part numbers on ******** and take them into the parts store to cross check it.

I purchase any parts unavailable at the local auto parts store right here at Pelican.

My next issue is the engine is sluggish when I get on the accelerator to hard. As long as I accelerate slowly it is nice and smooth. But if I get more than half way down on the pedal it starts to sputter and not want to go. I am also hearing a gurgling sound from the air intake/fuel distributor area. Is there an available rebuild kit for the fuel distributor?
