Filled gas tank but reads 3/4?

At least I think it was filled, it began burping and spitting out gas & the remaining air out. Do I have a gas float problem or was it not full? Any ideas? Thanks much.

Check your grounds behind your instrument cluster and the electrical connections on the instrument cluster itself.

It's that new blended gas. The sensor can only see the oil based product and not the ethanol additive.

Could be the sending unit in the rear of the car. Mine had this same problem until I pulled t out and cleaned it out. Over time, grime and particles accumulate on it. I believe there is a tech article about cleaning these here on the Pelican site somewhere. Just make sure that you pull the sending unit when you're running on fumes and there is almost no gas in the tank left. Ask me how I know
