plug under hood

So i replaced my interior light, the trunk key seal, and the under the hood light. In fixing the hood light I mistakenly repaired the alarm switch. Hey just a bonus. This before I learned about the mercury switch and the parking light trick...

My question is what was the plug that i connected that was nestled under the hood next to the windshield sprayers?
