This has me thinking. I have noticed my tray isn't leaking, thankfully, but I can see some rust forming. Our cars need a battery cover?

The early 944's had a second drain hole to the right of the wiper motor. Mine started leaking into the drivers floor so I put a tire patch over the hole to seal it. I don't know if the later cars had this drain or not.

Had this problem recently on the 968. The left/front sunroof drain tube was disconnected at the fire wall area. It's where the plastic hose slips over a metal tube and exits at the fuse box area. I removed the left windshield pillar trim and there it was. Easy fix and no more wet carpet.
