968 Door Handle Procedure Now On-Line
As promised, the companion piece to the 968 Aero Mirror Upgrade is now on-line. This procedure will walk you through upgrading to 968 Door Handles.
968 Door Handle Upgrade Comments and suggestions are welcome!:) |
Yo Icat!
Thanks for doing the homework on the procedure---the pictures and process are very good! Good stuff! |
Newoldguy, thanks for the comments.
Unlike Rennlist, you get to see how many times your post has been viewed - for everyone who took the time to look, thank you as well. Let me know if any of you attempt the upgrade. I'd like to hear how the procedure worked for you. Having done the upgrade, taken the pics, and written the procedure, I could do it in my sleep. But that wouldn't help you. So if you find anything that you didn't expect, or suggestion to improve the procedure, let me know. Looks like a Motive Power Bleeder procedure is next - pesky clutch! |
Yeah, I agree, the only way this will work is if we all help each other out with feedback and communication.
With regard to the motive bleeder---I did brakes and clutch this spring and the device really does make the job easy. No, its not cheap but it probably pays for itself the first time compared to taking it in to somebody. One man operation is the absolute truth. The one thing I did which made the clutch a lot easier was to take the starter off (other guys have mentioned this also in past posts). Just easier to get at the bleed screw since space is limited (what else is new?). Just follow the procedure and it should fix your problem. |
