Hatch repair question

Copied the repair doc I found here for my glass separation. Question is, what glue to use. I have some 3M black seal adhesive I think is the greatest stuff but not sure if it's right for this job.
What has everyone used?

I use the same urethane glue that windshield-installers use at body-shops. Quite a variety of them out there. Last time I used 3MŽ - Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive and it worked fine for 5-years now with no signs of any separation. The 3MŽ - Windo-Weld Urethane Adhesive also works well.

I think the prep and application of the glue is more important than the actual product used. You really want to completely remove the hatch from the car so there's no load on the frame. On-car hatch repairs will never work very well or for very long. Remove ALL of the old glue from both glass & frame. You'll want the glass to be as clean as possible with no fingerprints or oil. Use acetone to clean the surfaces. Alcohol or mineral-spirits won't do as their cutting-strength isn't that strong and don't work on both polar and non-polar compounds.

I've seen various how-to guides with photos that really helped. Using straps is handy to hold even pressure between the glass & frame. I also prefer to clamp thin wooden bars (yardsticks) on both sides to get even pressure along the top-edge of the glass (use many C-clamps to spread the pressure across entire length of wood on both sides).

In my opinion this is a very useful read:
