Custom 924S iPad Dash
Hey guys. Just wanted to show you guys a little project I did over the summer. Let me know if you guys want the actual build pics. I'll post them. A lot of body working. Thanks to SoundMan, made it a lot easier. I have an iPad Mini with 3G in the dash. It's removable, has GPS. use it for my music as well, also a cool app shows you your MPH, through GPS signal. And a lot more applications. They are endless. Check it out. The little circle thing to the right is a Volt a meter. Lol
If anyone has interest in one of these. U can contact me here fernandez924@gmail.com http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...pselway2vs.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...psc3c03819.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...ps643ceac8.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...pse0540954.jpg Pics are old, as u can see I'm watching the World Cup lol http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...ps23a57a40.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...psd8d70999.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...ps01b915a1.jpg |

So the big question... will you make them available (completed kit form)?

It would cover up the dash crack...

I had the pleasure of seeing this setup at a meet in August. Looks just as good (or better) in person.
I'd be very interested in seeing build pics. I've got my water pump controller mounted in this position. I'd be much happier with a setup like this (preferably built with a small overhand/sun shield) than with the current craft plywood & zip tie hack. |

Alright I'll be sure to post up the build pics soon haha. There are quite a few haha |
Actually, Atlanta was late June, wasn't it... Apparently I'm not good at dates.
Red 924S, same row as you on the left end. Name's Elliot. Looking forward to build pics! |

He didn't so I repaired it which is the finished product. |
Way beyond my capabilities!

Man... I was guessing you had taken a shortcut somewhere, and boy was I wrong. Kudos for a proper fiberglassing job.
How many layers of fiberglass did you lay? How does the assembly attach to the dash? |
If one of these could be made to fit an iPhone 5 for an early 944, I'd love one. How does it attach to the dash?
