It's really simple, the horn pad pulls off exposing a large nut (21mm? Citation needed...). As per usual Clark's Garage has a write-up on it. It's a good idea to use marking paint on the shaft so you have an idea on how to center it up when you go to reinstall.

-Remove the horn pad buy pulling it straight off. Three clips hold it on.
-Unclip the wire for the horn on the back of the pad
-Remove the but that holds the steering wheel in place
-Use a paint marker and draw a line over the steering shaft and wheel to mark the position of the steering wheel
-Wiggle the wheel top to bottom and pull towards you. The wheel should slide right off.
