Need help valuing some 924 GTR parts?

Hello,

I've got some NOS 924 GTR parts that I want to sell but don't have a clue how to value them. The only place I can find any of these parts for sale is Freisinger. Any help pointing me to a 924 GTR expert stateside would be appreciated. Or an owner who might want the whole pile of stuff.

I have rods, rod bearings, main bearing, pullies and several rev limiters (with 935 part numbers).

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Might be worth speaking with this guy who is building an amazing (mostly) replica.

Thanks for the lead, but unfortunately the GTP was the first use of the 944 engine. The GTR used the 2.0l turbo 924 engine. The parts I have are definitely 924 based.

If you have part numbers, you can cross reference the rod and main bearings on PET. If they are the same as stock bearings, then not worth much. Those bearings are currently available from EBS Racing.

They aren't in PET. The only place I can find them, since I don't have a GTR parts manual, is for sale by Manfred Freisinger.

Also, look for TJC on the 924 board, he probably can help.

This sort of build is more popular in Germany and possibly the UK. I have seen a few similar builds on forums there. If you're desperate I could look around for you.

Desperate, no. More interested in finding someone who owns a real one and may need or want some spares.

I can find the top of the market if I contact Friesinger. I would sell this stuff for much less to an owner.

But thank you for the offer.
