Question,...

How the hell do I get the injectors off the fuel rail and the manifold? Are they just pressed in or they screwed in? Whats the deal?

Should be a couple of 10mm holding the rail to the head. Then they are pressed in. They do get stuck over time, and you may have to carefully pry up on the rail a bit. Also there are retaining clips between the injector and the rail itself, these just slide off.

After removing the rail and injector assembly; pull off the clips Scott describes FIRST.

Gasket sets are available at Pep boys for less that $2 each.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

WhaaaaHOOOO, I got my intake manifold off. The first thing I saw was oil caked up on the inside of the manifold and in the intake ports on the head. Is this related to the bent valves(which i dont think) or is this somthing else? Let me clean up and gather myself and I will take some pictures for you guyz to look at.

Oil in the intake is coming from the breather. Means lots of back pressure from the engine. Possibly even blow by from the pistons (rings).

Oil down on top of the intakes is bad guides and, as a consequence, worn valve stem seals.

Pictures?

Pictures,... Theres oil everywhere. So,... I can use Simple Green, water, and a air compressor to clean the manifold right? Now, whats the deal with the back pressure? I remember reading that the NA cars use back pressure to gain on HP, this is to much back pressure right? Does this mean that there is something wrong with my exhaust?
