Bored. Trying to be funny... Yawn...

Most cooling leaks around the radiator are loose or cracked hoses. Every so often the plastic sides crack or start leaking at the seal. Then there are a couple of plastic fittings that screw into the plastic that leak. These you have to be really careful with not to over tighten. Lots of teflon tape.

Back to the hoses. If you have "mud" in the overflow tank there is oil in the coolant. This oil can ruin the hoses. I've also seen the hose fitting on top of the engine deteriorate because of the absence of antifreeze. Doesn't leave much for the hose to clamp to.

Because it's a 944!!!!!!

A blend of the best technology available in the early 80's to make a touring coupe.

I think of it as a modern steel rail coaster that has a highly flexible track!

Now as I pick myself back up off of the floor, I've been the happy recepient of seals "resealing", both were on #$^&@%^*#%^@$%^!!! Fords I've owned. On one of them, weeks before every seal touching the block started leaking, NAY, STREAMING oil, coolant, windshield washer fluid (explain that one!).<p>
80mph is my car's happy spot, I don't question providence, I just smack 'er on the arse and ride.
