Exclamation if you ever wonder how is inside the solenoid of the starter check this post

hello to everyone
my starter has die before two days and after the measurements with my multimeter i found out and was so obvious that the contact of the solenoid just R.I.P
if you never replace it just do it, mine was 25 years old.

I have replaced a starter solenoid but it is interesting to see what might cause the failure.

Here is a good starter rebuild DIY. My starter had the cracked "white part" and could not be repaired.
