Great Rice Kill!!!!

Nothing to get too excited about, but I witnessed something last night that put a semi-permanent smile on my face....

I was on my way to the movies last night, and there is a series of stop lights, separated by maybe 200 feet between each. As I waited, I heard the sound of revving engines up ahead. One was obviously rice, the other sounded a LOT better....

...sure enough, a few hundred feet up the road, in the other lane, there was a 996 Turbo lined up against a riced Civic. It was green, low, decals, wing, fart can, bass from rap music; in other words, a stereotype.

When their light turned green, the Honda's wheels chirped, but didn't spin too much (as the ground was wet, this probably meant that the kid knew how to drive his car)... I don't think the 996 spun its tires at all.

Needless to say, the Turbo slaughtered him. It wasn't even close. The 996 went past doing at least 110+ (the sound was GLORIOUS), the Civic passed a few moments later trying to catch up.... but the Turbo was long gone. Needless to say, the Civic was showered with choice comments by me and my friends.

Lastnight when I went to the movies (The Ring, decent scary movie ) I saw a woman (yes a woman!) drive by in a beautiful maroonish red looking 996 TT. She was almost as good looking as the car, oh it hurt, it really hurt. Anyway, on another note, wouldn't it be more proper to say you "fried rice" instead of "killed it"?

lemme think about that for a sec Rollins.............Nah!!! I'm not a chinese food gourmet, I'm a car gourmet. Rice Burners, are what they are, Riced out, and meant to be hunted down. Oh and to firm up my stance, I went to pepboys today for (gas treatment) $1.09 and was Flabbergasted when I saw a kid Bolting on a wing in the Parking lot WHILE his friend "kicked" on the most horrifying hubcaps I've ever seen. THese mods were being done to a 4 door, Sky blue, CHrysler "K" car. I wanted to puke.
I had to hand it to him though, the wing installer had his dads cordless dewalt and other tools to slam that wing on in no time flat. it took the kid installing the hub caps "LONGER" to put the hubcaps on than it did for the wing to be installed..... I find it amazing how careless and dangerouse some of the Ricers are.. they don't even know what the "F" they're doing most of the time. What if that stupid wing bounces off while driving down the road?.. they're pathetic..
