DME jump works! non jump doesn't
Hey guy,
My 83 na auro 944 is having some electrical problems okay so here's the deal, The engine is having problems with the fuel pump so when I run a regular DME the engine starts but doesn't run very well under gas and over gas, so I ordered a new DME. When I got the new DME and tryed to run it the exact same thing happend ! So I read online about the whole if you jump the pins the fuel pump will always run so I did that and the car runs almost perfect. Any ideas how I can fix this? |
A new fuel pump (DME) relay is what you want. Right here
1983 Porsche 944 Base Coupe - Switches, Motors, Relays, Fuses & Wiring - Page 4 I guess your relay is not dead, but has enough voltage drop to affect the delivery of fuel. |
Would a bad fuel pump DME relay cause a no idle condition?
