Lights stuck up...and not working

Dear Members
My driver's side light jammed in the up position as the black plastic surround which goes around the headlight itself broke and caught caught at the bottom in quite a state - and basically wedged the light up. I have managed to pull some of the sourround off and put the light back in the full up position (as it was 3/4 before) BUT....need some advice.

Firstly, is this jamming, likely to have blown a fuse of the motor? Which fuses and relay should i check?

Secondly. is that a square relay i can see on top of the motor?

WHat should i do to fix the lghts? have checked the fuses but they seem ok

many thanks for your patience and help

Pull the rubber boot off the top of the motor (passenger side of engine bay, near front), turn the little black dial slightly. Keep your fingers, etc. away from the lights and linkage - it'll move pretty quickly. That should re-zero it.

thanks so much for that! I have made some progress after your advice and managed to get them to both go down. All's well so far. But i am still stumped over the issue of

- the lights themselves which have died

- the motor, which is not working (it was hot even after standing for 24 hours so i disconnected it)

thanks for your patience
