951 Turbo Driving light refurb?

So I had planned on selling this one to make room for a 912, seller backed out. Sooo I'm back to going down my list of cosmetics as I will be keeping it for the forceable future.

Going to get the nose sprayed and want to do the lights at the same time. Going with new turn lenses but my driving lenses are fine, just hazy.

Anyone out there doing lens polishing? I know there is a DIY thread, I just have some things on my other cars that I would like to get to instead.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas! (If you can still say that to people)

Go to a glass shop and get some Novus Plastic Polish. There are several different flavors to pick from. Or you could just use some of the headlight restorer products available in most automotive stores. Usually a mild buffing compound would be fine for polishing clear or colored plastic.

Hmmm... Oh yeah, I forgot. Scratch that idea. However, there are some glass scratch repair kits available. Here's one. http://www.eastwood.com/pro-glass-polishing-kit.html

And another for deeper scratches or pitting like I would imagine on the driving lights. http://www.eastwood.com/glass-polishing-kit-for-deep-scratches-5658.html?fee=7&fep=5658&SRCCODE=GA220010&adpos=1o5&creative=83580269820&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CNjxz8iA4ckCFYEfHwod3JwH7w

And another link that might help you out. http://www.rocksandgems.info/faceting_how_to/polishing_glass.shtml

Colgate and an electric buffer... LOL Minty fresh lights. I'm not mocking either. I've used to polish plastic and it works well too. I just hadn't thought about using it on glass as I didn't think the abrasive would be hard enough.

I've used clear coat compound in the past on plastic.
