New to these parts...lol

Hi folks. New guy here with a few probably silly questions..lol. I've got an 87 924S I've been toying with/working on. Trying to put her back in great working fashion. I've redone a bunch of cars mosly Z's, but this is my first experience with a German lady..hehe. Anyway, I am wondering if someone can help with 3 things.
1)I've looked all over for rear sunroof latches. Suggestions?
2)On the center console is an electric switch (looks factory) that operates an electric motor. I can't quite detimine where this motor is or what it's supposed to operate but can hear it running in the back of the cabin somewhere. (Hatch release maybe)
3)None of the blower fans were operational when I got the car. The elec. diagrams only show two. I have the one under the hood working and the one on the passenger side in the cabin working but the fan control switch (near the three climate levers) operates neither. Is there a 3rd fan I am overlooking? I can feel heat being forced out while driving but thats it. Suggestions?

Sorry so long. Thanks in advance.

Send a message via ICQ to Kandid
1) -> You can try ebay (ebaymotors)
2) -> In my 84 944 hatch release switch is close to hood release.
not on the center console. It took me a while to find out what this noise is when I press hatch release switch (didn't knew then it was hatch release . In the end I just found disconnected cable that runs from hatch lock to motor on the right, you should check this cable.

Lefthand,

I think #1 and #2 are connected. The switch is most likely the power sunroof motor switch. The sunroof motor is located in the rear drivers side behind the carpeting. I would imagine something is wrong with your setup. The motor should drive the rear latches and should automatically latch the sunroof once the key is turned to the second position (I think). I don't know about the 924/924s, but the 944 had a design change in 86 with the sunroof mechanism.
