Yes!!!
I was just quoted $368.35 to replace my timing belt balance belts and pulleys/rollers. That's Labor AND Parts!!!.. W-hoo!!!!! I saw 2 944 Turbo's in the parking lot across the street from the dealership that I work at.. I became suspicious and excited!!I wandered over to the garage across from us and asked what was being done to the 944's. The service writer told me that the Silver one was getting all new belts and pulleys and the Brige 944 was getting cv's and Tires along with new rear shocks...WHAT?!?!?!?!?you guys fix these?!?!?1.. oh yeah, everyone here is certified to work on these cars, why what's the problem? he asked me... I started stuttering and asking how much would it cost me....... he just called me back.. I fell off of my chair .. Gettin em done right after Christmas!!..

Just outside of Philadelphia. In Havertown, The shop is in Ardmore, on Lancaster Ave. Keiser's Auto Service. I also know of another guy, Similarly priced but when you bring your car to him he wants to do Evrything.. he may quote you 700 bucks for belts, but he'll insist that you need this and that also, and won't fix the car unless you let him do what he wants to do. The porsche dealers use him for repairs, probablly when an older one comes in for service, they just charge you 4 times what he charged them. Anyway! I'm so excited to get my belts changed.

To ask a stupid question, what does it normally cost to get the belts changed on a n/a, non-S???? Next stupid question, what is the normal est. time for a REAL (not a shade-tree) mechanic to do the job???

Hey scottmandue.. I have a storey for you about a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, My mom has a friend who was Cheerleader in the &0's.. she is this amazing Greek woman, with HUGE Jugg bigger than my skull just GIGANTIC. And they're real. (go ahead, ask me how I know).... to be continued......

Yeah well, ummm, ahhh, I have 3 lifts and 2 alignment racks and a machine shop, SO HA YOU GO AND CHANGE YOUR BELTS FOR NEXT TO NOTHING
yeah, sadly enough, the one tool I don't have is the one I need to change my belts
