Arghhhhhh!!! I just replaced my oil cooler seals 2 months ago, and now I've got milkshake in my expansion tank again! I had the car running last night while I was trying to adjust the TPS. I turned it off, went to bed, and when I woke up the next morning I had oil all under the car. I traced it to the overflow hose on my expansion tank...when I opened the cap I had my newly changed clean oil "milkshaked" in my coolant........very depressing. Checked the compression, and I've got 150, 150, 150 ; 152. Maybe someone can help me. My reseal kit came w/ the new green O-rings, complete gasket, 4 - metal rings, and one plastic ring. When I took the cooler off the first time, I didn't notice any metal or plastic rings falling out anywhere. I know I didn't put the plastic ring back where it should have gone because the lousey Haynes Manual sucks! Can anybody tell me where the plastic and 4 metal rings go? This is an experience I didn't want to relive.....

Um... if you wern't sure where the parts went, why didn't you ask someone - chances are you missed a seal or have the housing mis-aligned.

Um, no, I used the Haynes manual, and all the parts it said to use I used. Then I saw Clark's webpage w/ his instructions listing the metal shims? and plastic O ring. I used the correct Porsche alignment tool as well........
