Autometer vs VDO boost gauges & A-pillars?
Hi!
I'm soon going to put an aftermarket boost gauge in order to have a better idea of my current setup. Do Autometer ones worth the additionnal money? Also, where can I find an inexpensive A-Pillar pod and at what price? Thanks alot! Yan

Whats the best price you have found for autometer guages? They are nice looking guages... I would be interested in those as well.

I've heard bad things about Autometer stuff. www.9xauto.com has some A-pillarguage pods, they also have Autometer guages.

Hey, i am looking into the same thing. www.gaugepods.com is the best deal for a full a-pillar made to fit the 944, its 50 bucks, www.9xauto.com also has one but it is around 80 bucks. What i am doing is just buying a universal dual a-pillar gauge pod from autometer and using a heat gun and forming it to fit onto my a-pillar....ALOT of people have already done this even with pods made for camaros, eclipses and other cars and they form well and look professional like it made for the car. I wouldnt spend the money on an autometer. You can also get a good boost gauge off of www.gaugepods.com, its 20 bucks. My friend has the same one and its nice, it may not look fancy but looks good in the a-pillar, whatever you do, good luck!
