83 sunroof
Could I take all my power sunroof stuff out of my 84 944 and put it in a 83 non power car? is this difficult or even worth it?

Nope.
Body is not fitted for it. Lacks not only the hard mounting points, studs and blind nuts, but the inside support sheet metal moulding is not recessed for it.

AND it's not worth it. Enjoy the 83's lighter weight, man! Don't make it heavier!
