brought my car to school, and some new improvements
I brought my car to school today, It usually stays at home in the garage, but I brought it to school for the last week of my January term. I think it's the coolest car on campus, I got so many looks driving it to the parking lot, and it was dark! Anyway, it's great to have it around.
As far as recent improvements, I replaced the rubber boot that covers the relay and the relay for the headlight motor, the old boot was trashed and the lights were acting up and not going down all the time, now they are perfect. I also put in an e-brake handle from a late car(mine is early) The early cars have a cheesy metal handle painted black with a cheap looking rubber grip. The late cars have a much nicer looking handle that is larger, and is covered in leather. It looks so much better, and I like the handle and button a lot more. It was an easy install, but you need to make sure you have the bracket for the button the handle pushes down for the e-brake light to go on and off from the late car cause it's different from the early car( even though the button itself is interchangable. I love these cars! -Ryan
