Black inner wheel arches - correct? 924 Turbo

Hi everybody!
After some research, I didn’t find something specific on this subject:

I recently disassembled a Porsche 924 Turbo MY81 (Euro specs) for restoration and I found the four inner wheel arches painted in mate black...
Is this correct or they are painted in body color?
