Alright, I've got the greatest idea! How about I run a tub from my intake manifold to my mouth and I'll blow as much air in as possible, maybe I'll even get the same effect? Here's another idea, strap a gas powered leaf blower to your intake with some duct tape, then whenever you want to go fast you can get out and pull start it! j/k, I don't really think it would work, but it's just another stupid thing I'm going to try with a Dodge Omni someday (2.2 litre turbo and a leaf blower intake, muahahahahahaha!)

I haven't found it yet. That's where I got the idea though. I'm debating on wether or not I would want to use the 2.0 litre eclipse engine or the 2.2 turbo. The eclipse engine is just so much more reliable which is kinda weird, but the 2.2 is good for power but blows for reliability. I was kidding about the leaf blower thing, and I doubt I would ever build an omni. I was just asking one of my friends about the electric super charger thingy and he said he's seen a dyno of a guy that actually lost power from buying it. Personally, I wouldn't even use one to dry my hair, but that's just me. It just seems like a ricer "mod" to me.

This is the biggest crock of §hit i have ever heard of, the ones that even blow 220 CFM wont even support the engine at idle, it will actually SLOW you down, and could break and pieces will go into your engine and ruin it, if you get one, i cant wait to hear that it is a piecer and doesnt work. Ive read all about these things, all they are are bilge blowers from boats that cost 13 bucks and they call them "superchargers" and sell them for 100 dollars. Also those tornado air thingys dont do crap either. Good luck.

You bet your ass they work!

I always suggest to people that buying two is the way to go. It goes along with the saying 'the whole is greater than the sum of its parts...' You'll get 15% more hp/tq with two rather than 5% with just one, they amplify each other.

Be carefull when/ if you buy one. There are some that are crap and will break apart and not work and there are some that actually work.

The whole idea is to get more air pressure, so it's possible, but does it restrict air flow more than you are benefiting?

i got it! what we do is attach a dirt devil to the intake and put it on reverse setting. That should blow enough air into the engine to give us at least 50,000 hp, right! Oh, but if we put the Dirt Devil logo across our windshields we get another 10hp.

The 911 guys joked about this a while ago. One guy bought it and put in on a dyno just to have some scientific data. Very suprising- It actually helped! An additional ~.0002 hp!

Bottom line? Don't bother.
