Head gasket
Well, after all I've done to get this 924S running, it seems I have a leaking head gasket..in a perfect world I would replace it, but it's not feasible at this time. I don't have coolant in my oil or oil in my coolant and it isn't overheating nor is there any gas bubbling in my coolant reservoir. I've pulled plugs and #1 are definitely "steam cleaned". My question is, would there be a head gasket sealant that might possibly work? Any input would be appreciated

Did you run a coolant pressure test to see if it holds pressure? Could it be leaking injectors instead?

Injectors have new o-rings and hats. I did test them after cleaning and backflushing. I do plan on testing cylinder compression and I'll also test coolant pressure. Thanks for the suggestion.

Where are you? On other forums I'm a member of, people put their location in their signature and when faced with a task on the edge of their ability other members in the area can post offers to help. If you were in my area, I'd lend a hand if I had the time. A head gasket is one of those jobs people consider intimidating until they've done one. Then they say "Huh, that wasn't so bad." It's more a matter of staying organized than any particularly challenging wrenching.

I pulled fuel and manifold components to replace o-rings in the AOS a few weeks ago. I'm not totally convinced its a head gasket issue. I had water droplets on #1 and #4 plugs, but they also were carboned up, so maybe "steam cleaned" may not be a fitting description.Someone mentioned FPR and possible leaky injectors. Once I get coolant and cylinder pressure figures, I'll know more
