My first no start!

These are my symptoms
I dont smell gas anywhere but i know the fuel pump is working because i can hear it. I spray starter fluid into the throttle body and it tries to start up but it wont. So to me it sounds like injector problems or something like that

As someone who has experienced no-start, I offer some tips:

Clark's Garage - look for this sort of stuff there.

fuel/air/spark - the magic spell for a running internal combustion engine to repeat over and over in your head and in the engine.

and yes, if you haven't guessed - we need more information.

dumb questions / things to consider age/etc. :

ignition cables
ignition rotor
distributor cap

starter

spark plugs

... did you pull out spark plugs and look for spark

... jumpered DME - useful?...

... and of course, GROUNDS (my current state of affairs!... maybe!...)

Oh i know the tests and it ended up being a coil. But number 4 injector is leaking. So, thats part of the problem. But, the spark was jumping from the ground terminal to the spark lead on the coil. Changed it out and it fired up. I do need to get around to cleaning all of the grounds on the car
