Hehehe......I've got one of those intake adapters somewhere that I made too, except it was out of aluminum. I then ordered one that was CNC'd from aluminum, it was beautiful. The first one I made was a prototype for some custom MAF kits that I was making at the time.

Did you make those strut brace brackets? If so, nice job.

I would guess that Red is your fav' color?

Great !

little late ( about air filter adapter), I went past november to K&N Mexico and I took with myself my new afm then I asked for cone filter than match the afm, then the person in charge inmediatly took a conefilter and say to other guy this is the same pattern of the car of the morning, yes is it. Took and adapter that fits perfectly in my afm and fits perfectly to conefilter.
If I rember correctly that car that they talket about it was a new A2 and the adapter came from a cheap ford car (named in México " Topaz ".
I don´t bought the filter because the price was very expensive and can buy the filter by internet at cheaper price. But the adapter was cheap about $20.00
we only need to make a adaption to fit in the 944 bracket.

This cheap adapter will make us the life esier and cheap.

I will do it soon and I will posy about it

Cheers !

I love to see things that make cars one of a kind. I hope more people post additions like this too!

The custom tower brace bracket is cool, but is it strong enough for a real tower brace??

Don't most aftermarket braces bolt right onto existing points anyhow?

of course you could just go out and BUY brackets, and BUY new seats with different colors, but if you are a true motorhead and want to be original, you will do it yourself, or make it yourself. I love cars that are custom. There are too many people who say, YAH, I'M GOING TO BUY THIS AND PUT IT ON MY CAR, THEN I'LL BUY ONE OF THESE AND PUT IT ON MY CAR. I have come up with alot of cool stuff for my 83' 533i BMW. I made my own performance intake,Painted my grille neon green, made rear strut bar system. made a switchboard (chromed) for my neons. There is alot a person can do for their car for little $.
