How to check ATF in an auto trans.
 

I need to check my atf level in my 88 924s Automatic. The resevoir is near the back of the trans, I have cleaned the undercoating off the tank (Hey, the cap is RED!) but cant get a strong enough light to shine through the opaque plastic tank to check tthe fluid.. ANY IDEAS??

I got it- nevermind. warm to 104-140 F , release pressure from fill tube and check level. Was in the Haynes manual... DUH!
