Fixed!!! I hope.
Well, I think I have fixed a lot of my troubles.
1. Had a really nasty connection between the engine and the firewall on the ground side. It was contributing considerable amounts of extra ohmage to the starter loop. Cleared that up, and the car hasn't given me any starting problems. 2. You won't believe this. The intake manifold boot connection to the air flow sensor was not sealing. The ring around it was fully screwed down, and apparantly that wasn't enough to get it sealed. The ring was fully closed, though. Strange. That was the factory hose ring. I put some electrical tape underneath the ring until it was actually clamping down on the hose. That fixed my strange idle problems real good. Now on to the next one. I think I can hear some belt whine... Which belt, I will have to find out though.. Anybody had any luck with that optibelt tool?
